Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 September 2026

JACE.GAMES is a small collection of quick multiplayer and solo games, playable in a browser at jace.games and — soon — as native iOS and Android apps. This policy covers the web version now; the native apps will carry the same practices plus whatever the app stores additionally require, disclosed at download.

Plain-language summary: there are no accounts, no logins, and no advertising or analytics trackers today. We keep the minimum needed to run leaderboards and read the feedback you choose to send.

What we store

What we don't do

Display names

Display names appear publicly on the leaderboards, so they are checked against a blocked-words list (slurs and explicit terms) when you set them. A name that matches is rejected, and a name that slips through another way is replaced with a neutral placeholder before it reaches a public board. We may also rename or remove a name that is reported or that we find is abusive.

Where it's stored and how long

Leaderboard rows, reserved names, and feedback are held in Google Cloud Firestore (US region), used only to run these features. Data is kept while the service runs; test data is purged periodically. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), and clearing your browser's site data for jace.games removes the local device ID and saved progress from your side immediately.

Your choices

Children

The games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the only data tied to a device is a random ID and an optional nickname.

Contact

Use the feedback form in the in-app menu, or email hello@jace.games. We'll respond to data-deletion requests within a reasonable time.
